Floor tiling, wall tiling, niches, feature walls, natural stone, large format and curved installations.

Custom-built vanities, shaving cabinets, floating joinery, integrated storage solutions.

Plumbing & Fixtures

Licensed plumbing rough-in, tapware, toilets, showers, baths, heated towel rails, in-floor heating.

Stephen founded Piper Moss more than 40 years ago. Across four decades he has delivered award-winning residential architecture across Sydney, the kind of work that demands precision, patience, and a builder willing to stake their name on every detail. Hubert grew up on those sites, learned the standard by doing, and now runs Tillow Built as owner-operator.

Common Questions

Frequently asked.

How long does a bathroom renovation take?

Standard full bathroom: 3-4 weeks from strip-out to handover. Ensuites & powder rooms: 2-3 weeks. We sequence trades back-to-back (demo, plumbing rough-in, waterproofing, tiling, fit-off) to avoid downtime.

Do you handle waterproofing in-house?

Yes, all wet area waterproofing is done by our certified waterproofer to AS 3740 with a written certificate of compliance. This is non-negotiable on every bathroom we build.

Can I keep my existing layout, or do I have to move plumbing?

Either works. Keeping existing plumbing locations is the cheapest option. Moving the toilet, shower or vanity adds plumbing & tiling time but is usually worth it for the right layout.

Do you supply tiles and tapware, or do I select them?

Both options are fine. We can include a PC (Prime Cost) allowance for you to choose your own from places like Beaumonts, di Lorenzo or Reece, or we can present a curated palette based on your style and budget.

How much does a bathroom cost in Sydney?

A complete bathroom renovation in Sydney typically runs $25k-$60k depending on size, tile choice, tapware grade and whether you're moving plumbing. Powder rooms from $15k. We give a written fixed price after the site visit.

Do you handle the council approval if I'm changing the layout?

Internal bathroom renos usually don't need council approval. Ensuites added to existing rooms or expansions may need a CDC, we manage the certifier paperwork end-to-end.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, NSW Builder's Licence 393831C, full public liability and workers compensation.
