We service Sydney's Eastern Suburbs (Bondi, Coogee, Bronte, Randwick, Rose Bay, Woollahra), Inner West (Newtown, Marrickville, Leichhardt, Balmain), Inner City (Surry Hills, Redfern, Darlinghurst), and Lower North Shore (Neutral Bay, Cremorne, Mosman, North Sydney). We cover most of greater Sydney for larger renovation projects.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We hold NSW Builder's Licence 393831C and carry full public liability and workers compensation insurance. We're members of the Master Builders Association of NSW and a Modwood Certified Installer.

How long has Tillow Built been operating?
Second-generation building company with 10+ years of construction experience and 150+ completed projects across Sydney. Founder Hubert Auld's father, Stephen J. Auld, won the MBA NSW Excellence in Building Award 2019 for a $4M+ residential project in Bronte.
Do you handle insurance work?
Yes — we prepare insurance reports and scopes, handle assessor-coordinated repairs, and manage water damage, mould remediation, storm damage and structural rebuilds end-to-end. Many of our clients come to us via insurance referral.
How long does a typical renovation take?
Bathrooms: 3–4 weeks. Kitchens: 4–6 weeks. Full home renovations: 12–20 weeks depending on scope. Decking projects: 1–3 weeks. Every project gets a detailed timeline with milestone dates before work begins.
